Sarah Jane Blizzard (1856-1886)

Sarah Jane Blizzard was born in 1856 in Ohio, probably in Pickaway or Pike county Her parents were Samuel Blizzard and Lucretia Marshall.

Lucretia had a child by William Edward Hollett, but is appears they were never legally married. The 1800 census record for Salem, Pulaski, IN shows Sarah Jane as single and living with her infant son (Clarence) Edward Hollett as a boarder in the household of Hannah West.

Sarah Jane died at age 28 on 22.Apr.1886 in Earl Park, Benton, IN. The location of her grave is unknown. After her death, her young son was raised by his uncle John W. Blizzard (Sarah Jane's brother) and wife Sadie.
