For members, this wiki provides information on certain family lines. Some of these people are also described in the public website ohiopioneers.com. In both that website and this wiki, the term “Ohio Pioneer” is used both in the classic sense and in the more poetic sense.

When logged in as a member, you will be able to use the Surname Directory, which is included in the navigation sidebar. That directory lists the surnames of families currently included or planned to be included in this wiki. If a name is shown as a link (e.g. colored text), then logged in members can click on that name to get more information and to see a list of individual pages for that surname. In general, this wiki does not include people who are living or recently deceased. It is about the past.
